The guys at Mark + Fold sent me one of their subscription packs to sample and I have to say I’m absolutely blown away by their attention to detail. So much so that I think I have to preface this post by saying I promise this isn’t a sponsored post/advert as I’m worried it’s going to sound like one!
The whole package was so beautifully put together that opening it was such a joy.
Mark + Fold are all about the materials. So much so that you can read about everything they use and exactly why they chose them here. If you’re interested in learning about processes and how things are made, this is a really good company.
Their notebooks are made in small batches and each is individually numbered.
I got no. 216 of 500 of this batch. This mint green is my favourite colour so I love the inside cover pages.
See what I mean about details?! The texture of the cover is so good and set off perfectly with a little bit of gold foiling.
The book has lay flat “Ota” binding, which you can read more about here, and they get done in Holland.
As I said, they sent me a sample of the welcome pack that subscribers get. The notebook also comes with some other treats…
A cute little package of some classic brass paperclips.
And a selection of cards.
I am all about this debossing detail.
You can buy all of these items separately in their shop, or these are a sample of what you’d get as a subscriber. There are a few different types of subscriptions and you can read more about them here. Subscriptions start at £50 for a 3 month taster to a Super Subscription for £225 which gives you packages every 2 month for a year – for if you’re a total baller (you can compare the different options here). That probably seems quite pricey, but for the 3 month taster, that’s actually only £25 per box (you get the welcome box + one more) and you’re getting a notebook each time and as you can see they’re beautifully made. It could make a nice gift, if you’re feeling generous!
I was sent this subscription box free of charge for the purpose of this feature but all opinions are my own – promise!
