January Favourites @ The Stationer

I don’t want to make ATS all about The Stationer, because that’s just not that interesting for you guys. And I hope you will have seen that since I started The Stationer I have kept up my normal kind of content. One thing that I thought would be nice to do though is to do… Read more »

My Bungu Box: Japanese stationery subscription

I first heard from Kuv just under a year ago when she made some suggestions for my stationery shop map in Japan, where she lives (after growing up in the UK). This was really useful as my map where fairly low on Japanese spots, which, given that it’s the stationery capital of the world, seems a… Read more »

VIDEO: 6 Months of Moustache Stationery

After being such a slow blogger over the last few months, I ended up with 6 (SIX!) Moustache Stationery boxes stacked up, ready to review. Rather than do either 1 massive blog post, or several similar ones, I thought I’d make a quick video about the contents of the boxes. The thing that’s interesting about… Read more »

A few weeks ago I was really excited to be invited to an origami workshop with Esther Thorpe, in celebration of the launch of her new book, Paper Home. I’ve been a fan of Origami Est via Instagram for ages, constantly amazed at the things she makes with paper… The workshop was at Quill London, the stationery… Read more »

Fred & Bell Stickers

Seeing people you know from the blogging community starting up their own thing is so exciting AND inspiring, and it’s even better when it’s something I can blog about! And so, here is Fred & Bell, created by Leanne Beale who blogs at This Little Space of Mine. I know Leanne from having “met her” on… Read more »

Pencil Shaving Flowers by Haruka Misawa

A photo posted by Haruka Misawa (@misawadesigninstitute) on Mar 5, 2016 at 5:57am PST Via Colossal, I saw these beautiful paper sculptures by Japanese designer Haruka Misawa. You can read about the idea behind it here, but essentially she noticed when sharpening pencils that the shavings resembled flowers and decided to try and reconstruct this… Read more »
