Tell me about how you use stationery in your day to day life?

Lists, list, lists! I could not survive without writing lists, so whenever I sit down to work the first thing I do is get out my pen and notebook and make my ‘To do’ list! I’m surrounded by so much colour, pattern and lets call it a creative mess, that I like my notebooks to be calming and simple in their design. At the moment I’m using really plain cardboard coloured hardback notebooks with ivory ruled paper. I must admit though I have at least three on the go at any one time as I have plain notebooks for sketching too.

What’s the top stationery item that you can’t live without (and why)?

Drawing is and always has been a huge part of my life and job, therefore I would be lost without my trusty PILOT G- TEC-C4 in black and always size 0.4. I just love using these pens to draw, I feel like I can achieve my best quality of illustration when using these pens and love the delicate sensitivity of line that you can create whilst building up the levels of depth also.

Quick-fire questions:

 – Pen or Pencil?
Once upon a time it was pencil, these days it’s pens!

– Notebooks: plain, lined or grid?
For lists lined, for drawing plain.

 – Paper diary or phone calendar?
I used to always keep paper diaries but the last couple of years I’ve  mainly used my phone calendar and a lot of ‘oh i’ll just remember it in my head’ …and then I don’t, so i’m thinking 2015, I’m going old school and getting a paper diary again!
