The Pen Addict Podcast: #206 Put Myself On That Google Map

Pen addict

Yesterday was a very exciting day, for not only did I make my podcast debut, but it was on one of my favourites – The Pen Addict!

You can either find it here to stream, or download it on your podcast app of choice. You can also see all the show notes and links to relevant posts there.

We talked about why I started my blog, about stores I’ve been to on my travels, my stationery store map, my current favourites, my plans to open my own store and my wedding! Me me me, basically.

A few things to note:

  • It turns out that when you’re on a podcast that you listen to it’s quite hard to remember that you have to speak! A few times I found myself surprised when Brad said my name and momentarily had to remind myself that I was meant to speak!
  • I laugh A LOT. Sorry.
  • I started looking on eBay for Waterman 52 Flex-nib pens after we stopped recording. Uh oh.
  • What I should have said on the podcast and didn’t manage to is how grateful I am for Brad’s support in the early days of my blog – he’s always been super generous and has bought a lot of people my way over the last few years – thank you!

Thank you so so much for having me on Brad and Myke (and letting me basically talk about my myself for an hour)!!

Hey Tessa, I’m part-way through the podcast, listened to it coming in this morning, was desperate to hit every traffic light just so I can get listen to it all.

So far so good. I think it’s a wonderful podcast and delighted that Brad and Myke have shown their support to feature you.

Looking forward to my commute home tonight.

Thanks, Tony

Thank you so much Tony! Glad you’re enjoying so far 🙂 In that case, I wish you very bad traffic on the way home!

Hi, Tessa. Just finished listening to your podcast debut on “The Pen Addict”, and it was great. I really enjoyed the episode. You all sounded like you had so much fun. Also, congratulations on your marriage! The podcast was the first I heard about the article you published about it, so I will definitely reading this weekend. All the best to you!
