Yesterday I went along to the London Stationery Show 2015!

Blogging is such a solitary thing. You get used to emailing lots of people and you get good at interacting on social media, but when you suddenly find yourself in a room with all of these people it’s a bit of a culture shock! Last year I was far too shy and hardly spoke to anyone, so this year I made sure I chatted to as many people as possible and got my name out there!

A few people didn’t actually know what a blog is (!) so it was good to be able to explain it and make people think about how working with bloggers can be really good for their brand. Another great thing was meeting a fellow stationery blogger! I had a quick drink with Adam from The Desk of Adam, and his lovely sister. It was really reassuring to have someone there is the same boat and share our experiences! Anyway, apart from all that – I saw a lot of great stationery!! Here are some pictures of the things that really stood out for me:

I fell in love with these planners by Korean Company Iconic. I desperately want one!!

The Midori table. Need I say more. Mmmm kraft…

Portico Designs was another new one to me. I love these notebooks – kraft and neon is always the dream mix, and this is a very cool display.

This pen is THE ONE. Kaweco Brass Sport with a gold nib. It writes sooo smoothly. Want want want. Also, not as heavy as you might imagine.

LSS15 5
MT tape for days!

G.F Smith always have the best displays.

I’m always a sucker for a lanyard (best word in the English language?) with my name on…

See you again next year LSS! I mean, where else would you find yourself faced with a man saying “smell this!” and shoving a pencil in your face?!
