Christmas Gift Guide: Stationery Sets

It kind of pains me to be doing anything Christmas related before December 1st, but I suppose one has to be organised… There’s too much out there to fit in one post so I’ll be doing a few over the next few weeks. I’m going to do 3 (I think); one on gift sets, one of christmas cards, and one on stocking fillers.

Today though, gift sets. There seems to be some great ones out there this year:

Starting out with Present & Correct’s very festive Office in a Christmas Cracker, where for £11.50 you get a selection of new and vintage stationery bit. Delightful!

Pedlar’s have put together this Stationery Hamper, which include some great stuff like a Blackwing Pencil and sharpener, a Tombow eraser, a Choux à la Crème notebook, along with some Pedlars originals like their Everything’s Going to be Alright Packing Tape. They also have a very cool fluoro christmas theme in their shop at the moment!

So this one’s pretty pricey at £92.57, but it’s SO ridiculously cool… The Lexon Buro Desk Set from Fred Aldous consists of a tape dispenser, calculator, USB Port (with SD card & flash card reader), stapler, hole punch, calendar and magnifying lens. So damn nice.

A couple of cheaper options from Bureau Direct. The Rhodia Essentials Box, which for £9.95 gives you a selection of Rhodia Notebooks, and the Bureau Vintage Stationery Gift Bundle, which has a notebook, Herbin pen and matching ink and costs £8.35. Bargain!

Finally, this gorgeous Smug Writing Set, for £30. I love the Chase & Wonder guinea pig design, which is letterpress printed onto cards and writing paper, and it comes in a lovely wooden box.

That’s my pick of UK offerings… Friends & Family, please note I’ll happily receive any of these.
