Back to the 90s with a Tele-index and a rad pencil case

Sorry I was a little quiet last week, I’ve just got back from my best friend’s hen do (I think that’s a bachelorette party for those of you in the US/canada) in Marrakech. It was AMAZING, but the planning for that got in the way of blogging towards the end of last week.

Anyway, I’m back and ready to show off some more birthday presents, this time from one of my oldest friends, Diane. She really came up trumps with some 90s vibes stationery. Starting off with a “Tele-info Index”. It looks like this:

Pretty old school eh? You slide the guide button to the letter you require, then push the button at the bottom and it pops up to (hopefully) reveal your contacts.

It’s by Esposti and is an updated version of the 80s/90s Teledex, as it has space for Name, Number and E-mail address. To be honest, I’m not really sure that I would ever bother writing down people’s numbers and email addresses as I use iPhone/MacBook and everything is synced up, but I DO keep meaning to write down people’s home addresses, and this might be a good place for this as I don’t actually have a proper address book.

Next up, is this super dreamy pencil case:

It has a hard case with a magnet fastening, and inside has compartments for all your bits – including a pocket which is the perfect size for a Field Notes! It was made by Flying Eagle China, but I can’t really find any info about them (anyone?). There are a few others of these pencils cases floating around online and people are saying they are 1980s, so I’ll go with that.

I’ve filled it with some of my favourite items:

Thanks Diane – you’re the best!
